Sweet November Snowflake Preview Day 3 "Neva"

Today is the last day of the Sweet November Snowflake Fairies. Today we have this OH SO SWEET, SHY and ADORABLE little fairy named "Neva". I think she may just be my favorite. As I love the innocence she has.
I made a frame with her to give as a gift this year. I have so many friends that love handmade gifts better than anything you could ever buy them. I do plan on making more of these for my kids Teachers except my oldest as she will be 17 soon and she has outgrown giving them gifts, but she will probably want me to make something for her friends.

I just used a 5x7 wooden frame and glued the DP I wanted to use on it and used a bone folder to smooth and get rid of all the access glue so it wouldn't bubble up. I cut around the frame with my craft knife to get rid of the access DP and then sanded the edges and ran some white pigment ink around the edges.

I used another 3D Sizzix die snowflake cutout and added some very fine MS glitter to it, well I covered it in glue and glitter and it is sooooooo sparkly in person. But my pic doesn't show all the sparkle. I added some MS snow around the frame too. I love the colors blue, brown and silver for winter/Snowflake creations, its so warm feeling with all the cold.
I also made one last snowflake fairy ornament which are all 3 now on my Christmas tree. I need to make more as my Mom and friends loved them and want some for themselves.

Don't forget that these won't be available till December 6, at All That Scraps, in both rubber and Digi so until them make sure you head on over to Amy's blog and leave her some love on all 3 snowflake post for a chance to win one for yourself and some other goodies before they are available for purchase.

Also make sure you check out Traci and Rachel's creations also to see what they came up with using Neva!!
Thanks again Amy for letting me be a part of your Sweet November Snowflake Fairy previews. I have had a blast creating with them.

Sweet November Snowflake Preview Day 1 "Eira"

Hi everyone!! I am so excited that I get to help Amy Young in her Sweet November Snowflake Fairies preveiws. There will be 3 days of previews then the release over at All That Scraps, Dec 6th.
All the images will be release in rubber and Digi on Monday Dec 6. For today's preview we have Eira to showcase.
I made 2 creations with her. The first one is a card and I used Eira in rubber form.
Isn't she just the cutest? And for my next creation I made a snowflake ornament to either put on my tree or to give as a gift with the card.

For the snowflake ornament I used Eira in Digi form.
Make sure you check out Amy's blog to see her creation and leave a comment to get in on a chance to win Eira for yourself. Not only does she give away the stamp as candy, but she throws in the paper, embellishments,etc.. oh and the card she makes with the image. She will have candy with all her previews.
Also don't forget to check her DT members blog too.. Traci and Rachel.

I finally got a chance to play with my Sweet November Fairies at All That Scraps. I love these little fairies and had planned to use them on some of my Halloween cards but with all the other stuff I had to do I never got the chance to make them into a card. So I decided to put 3 of them on a card as if they were sisters. Amy Young has some of the cutest fairies and they are so much fun to color. I'll be back later with another card to share.. a tickled pink Lil Lolita card!!!

Sweet November Fairies and Mermaids Oh My!!

Good morning to you all. I finally got a chance yesterday to create so fun cards just for me!! I decided to print out these cute Sweet November Digi's by Amy Young at All That Scraps. I could not wait for the rubber so I got the Digi's instead. So today I will share with you 2 that I created yesterday. The first one is this adorable and beautiful fairy and her name is Coriander. I remember when Amy had drawn this image for a card she created and I was so hoping she would release it in her Sweet November line!! And I'm so glad she did, I just love her!! I used some K&Company DP called Eco and the tree branch and flowers were cut from my cricut on white CS and then colored with copics. I added some blue rhinestones to the centers of the flowers and added some ribbon that my blogging friend Rellz sent me.

For my 2nd card I used this new Sweet November June release and her name is Treasure Tempestwind. Oh she is so beautiful playing with her little Sa friend. I added some pearls to looks as if it was the water swirling as they were playing around in the Sea together. And of course I added some more pearls in her hair and around her waist.
