Tickled Pink Stamps/Lil Lolita preview Day 5, meet Lilith

How is all our Tickled Pink fans doing today??? Well today is day #5 of Tickled Pink Stamps Fashionette Lil Lolita stamps and today I have 50's Lilith to show you!! Isn't she just GORGEOUS!! I just love her and I had so much fun creating this card!!

Everytime I look at this card 3 things come to my mind... the TV shows Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley!! And the 3rd thing is the movie GREASE!!! Grease is my oldest daughter Destiny's favorite movie and she has watched it soooooo many times(probably at least 300 times) that she can knows every word and can talk and sing along with it. She is 16 and has been watching Grease since she was 2 yrs old!!! And at one point or another she has made every one of her friends watch it with her when they have spent the night with her at our house.
Here is just one of her favorite parts of the movie... At the end when Sandy is all dressed up in her tight spandex black pants that looks like they were sprayed on her, and Danny says Sandy and sandy says TELL ME ABOUT IT STUD!!! Then Danny /John Travolta starts singing.....
I got chills
They're multiplyin'
And I'm losin' control.
'Cause the power
you're suplyin'
it's electrifying...
If anyone has seen the movie you know the rest!!LOL!!

Okay so for my card I used some light pink, white and black CS and some Transparent paper from LUXE. I had this 50's car stamp and I just had to use it with Lilith and make it a girlie car in pink!! She's all ready for a night out with the girls of bowling, watch a drive- in movie and then a stop at the drive-in Diner before heading home!
I hope you like her and remember we still have one more preview for you tomorrow and then you can pre-order your very own Fashionette Lil Lolitas!! Whoo Hoo!!!
So please visit the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to see the rest of the AWESOME creations from our Tink Ladies and to see what you can do to win Lilith or the whole 6 image release!!
Thanks for stopping by!! See you tomorrow!!

Hi Angela and Destiny. First let me say that I can so relate to Destiny's love of Grease.... My sister and I have known the words to Grease since we first watched it in the theaters. Then HBO played it and we taped it on a cassette tape so that we could preform it for our friends and family. Of course this was before VHS or DVD..heehee. Second, I LOVE your card Angela..It just makes me so happy. Wonderful coloring as always, and all of it! Great Card. I have always thought of Grease when the DT calls themselves the Pink Ladies. heehee. Have a super great Friday. Hugs, Lisa

I like how the car matches the color of her skirt!

She looks if she belongs with the car. The car symbol is so evocative of that era & you've captured the whole feel of that time with your composition.
Those shiny spots remind you of plastic belts on girls dresses.
