Guest for Copic Marker Europe Blog

Hi everyone.  I am so excited that I get to guest design today on the Copic Marker Europe Blog.

I chose to color one of the new portrait  images from Make It Crafty
This digi image is called "Ashlyn"

Here she is all colored up with copics.

I always color from the lightest to darkest colors as it easier

to add more dark but you can't take it away once you add too much.

Here are the colors I used for her Skin.
I also used R20 and R21 for her cheeks.

Here are the colors I used for her hair.

Here are the colors I used one her blouse.

And here she is again all colored up.

I used some paper from Authentique called "Gatherings".

I added some silver corners by Teresa Collins and the Always pin is from Creative Keepsake that I have had in my stash forever.

I also added some dark brown lace and used a Spellbinders scalloped square behind the image.

I added the "Cherish" acrylic sticker from Colorbok to the bottom of the card.

I also used a fancy Spellbinder die on the top right corner and added
some more dark brown lace behind it.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaf pins are from Maya Road.

Here is one last look at my finished card.

Thanks for letting me share my creation and my color choices with you.
I hope you like her.

Hugs:)

Beautiful Angel

I have had this card made for while now and just haven't had time to write up a post to share it with you all.
I used a digi from Make It Crafty, called "Angelica in Flight".

I kind of keep this card pretty simple just ruffle lace and a little gold cherub angel embellishment.

Angelica was colored with copics. Well Ia m off to finish helping the kids rearrange their room.  They started it earlier today and it is still a mess and they have to go to bed in about 20 minutes. Hopefully I will get some free time later to visit some of your blogs.
This has been a busy weekend as we have my son's birthday party yesterday so I spent all Friday night and Saturday cleaning the house and trying to clean all my craft stuff up and organize it.  If you remember seeing pics of my craft area, I have it in my kitchen so when we have company all my stuff has to be put up and then it takes me forever to find it again.  I tried to put it all where it was suppose to be so hopefully I'll be able to find it all again when I need it.
Have a great week and thanks for stopping by.
Hugs:)

Make It Colorful "Blades of Grass" Challenge

Hi everyone, today Ia m a guest over at Make it Colorful .  I was so excited to purchase this new fairy images and the new scene digi's.  I love them.  I knew I wanted to use as much of the fairies as I could and in turn I would have to create something big so I would be able to color them and still be able to show all their details.
This weeks challenge is to "Create Blades of Grass".
I create this beautiful 12x12 Wall Hanger for my youngest daughter Jazmine.  She loves it and can't wait for me to hang it on her all.

Here are the Make it Crafty digital images I used to create this scene. All images are from the New Fairy and Elven Collection and the Fairy Garden Collection.

I used a 12x12 Shadowbox that I painted off white.  I added some DCWV pattern paper to the inside of the box, trim it with ribbon, added some butterflies in each opposite corner that I covered in Martha Stewart glitter because the color of the butterflies as too dark.  I needed to lighten them up some.  I added some floral craft glitter twigs, some ice looking twigs
I adhered the image with foam tape and covered it to make a frame with a big  Technique Tuesday Chipboard Frame, that I painted  and sponged Tattered Angels Glimmer mist on in Teal and then covered with clear glitter glue and added some Martha Stewart think glittery snow flecks.
And the last thing.. was some Webster Pages round aqua glitter flake stones.
I colored the whole image with copics and a lot of them.
I created my grass blades with different green colored copics.

Go HERE to check out what the DT created with this challenge.
Thanks for the chance to play along with the Make it Colorful girls. I had so much fun.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs:)

Seven "Make it Crafty" Elves to share

Hi everyone.  I wanted to post this real fast before I head to bed.  I created these adorable little Elf cards for a guy I work with.

 HI FRED!!

I rushed last night to finish them so he would have them in time for Christmas. I kept them simple as not to take away from the cute little adorable elves.

I took all of these pictures at work on my desk,so they are not as good as the ones I take at home under my lamp.

For this first one I used

This one is "Rocky"

This is "Scruffy"

Here is "Duffy"
