Hi Everyone. Today is a SAD day for me as my oldest daughter Destiny is 18 today. Oh My Gosh where has the time gone. Not only did she turn 18 today she also got her acceptance letter to MTS (Middle Tennessee University). Not too much longer and she be college bound. But I do think she will live a home the for the first year of College, at least I hope so.
I wanted.. since she is 18 today.. to make her a birthday card that reminded me of what she use to look like when she was my LITTLE girl. Not that she's not now.. she's just not little anymore. She all grown up now. teas, tears and more tears.. But this picture looks jsut like she did when she was 2 and 3. She has the curliest little blond hair and she even had that cute little round belly.
I used this oh so sweet and adorable Mo Manning digi called "Winter Fairy Talva". She was born during 17" of snow(in Kentucky) so she is my Winter baby and I wanted my card to showcase that.
I used some Bo Bunny Winter papers, some beautiful white trim, Big glittery foam snowflake, Pearl stick pin, aqua Maya Road Leaf pins,Wild Orchid Crafts roses and Dollie.
I also used my sewing machine so that means I can enter this in this weeks Mo Manning Challenge.
I added glitter to her big fuzzy head/ear muffs, her fuzzy leg warmers, snow and on her wings. I also added glitter glue to the flowers too.
You can see that the BIG Aqua flower use to be darker so I lighted it up with glitter glue and MS fine glitter.
Oh and the sentiment is from My Favorite Things.
