Hi everyone. I created this journal book using a gorgeous Digi image from Crafts And Me called "Ladybug Love" by artist Hannah Lynn. I made this Journal book by altering a Composition Notebook. I make alot of these for family and friends as they love them and I still have not made one for myself yet.
I wanted to color her hair in teal colors and I'm happy the with the way it turned out. I printed this image bigger than I would if I was making a card as this book is about 8x10.
I used some decorative paper and aryclic sticker borders, chipboard flourish that I covered in black soot distressing ink, Big Pink Prima flowers, Wild Orchid Crafts teal roses and small Prima roses, Butterflies, Spellbinder dies, Foam tape(Kids Fun foam), K&Company cloth button brads, Pearl pins, Basic Grey Sultry DP and Copic markers.
Here in the US you can buy these Composotion Notebooks for about a $1 or less if they have a big before school supply sale( that's when I stock up at .25 to .50 cents each) and they make great gifts.
Well it is way past time for me to be in bed as my kids will be up by 6 in the morning. They don't know what sleeping late is at all. Sure wish they did so I could sleep in.
Have a wonderful weekend.
