Simply Betty Challegne"Bling it On" and Emmy's Fairy Digi

Well ladies this week we have a very special challenge for you as it's for a very special girl. Back during our 12 days of Christmas we had a special prize, which was to be a Custom digi image drawn by our very own Betty. A special young crafter named Emmy won! Her digi is now ready, and the DT have all used her image this week for our Bling It On Challenge. So this week, since Emmy LOVES Glitter (and lets be honest, who doesn't?? ) we're challenging you to

Bling It On!
And Emmy herself and her Mom Rachel are also playing along with us and you'll have to go HERE to see their creations and the rest of the DT creations too with Emmy's very own Fairy Digi.

This Fairy was made just for Emmy so you can't buy her. Sorry.

I added so much glitter to this card and bling. I sure hope Emmy loves it as it will soon be on it's way to her mailbox. We all made our cards for her to keep.

GO HERE to see all the gorgeous Emmy Fairy cards.

Simply Betty's 12th Day of Halloween (our last Challenge)

The end is here! I know you are all bummed, and I sure wish Halloween lasted all year long but sadly it cannot be! Boo hooo! Well the good news is we will be announcing the Winner of the whole Shebang Nov. 5th! But wait there is more, we are announcing the winner on Nov. 5th because it is Emo Christmas release day! Woot woot!

I wish you all a Happy and Safe Halloween.

Okay, so now this is going to be a teaser for you all, but the winner of the Whole Shebang will get all six new Christmas Emo Digis along with the Christmas Emos Christmas Card kit (to be shown and announced with preview days 1 Nov. 3rd, 2 Nov. 4th and Blog Hop and release day Nov. 5th)! Woot woot! You are going to love them!
On the 12th day of Halloween my Ghoul love gave to me... 12 Witches Cackling! Incorporate a witch or witches in your project!
First of all I used Sassy Witch Mina from Simply Betty Stamps Victorian Beauties Halloween digis as my witch for my project. I was going to use Witch Betty form the Emo Halloweenies but I decided to use Mina instead as I haven't used her yet.
I got this cool looking Pickled Marshmallow Monster at the store the other day just to use for this creation. As soon as I saw it I thought it would be cool to use as if Mina had cast a spell on her boyfriend and made him ugly and cast him to live in this jar. Looks like he has been a bad boy!! My kids have asked for the last 3 days to eat him(as he is candy) but I wouldn't let them. So I guess later today they will let him out and start eating his brains out! lol!! Hopefully he taste good. We'll see! I added some scalloped circle to the top of the jar in black and purple (made with my Spellbinders Nesties), I colored Mina with copics, added some black tule to the top to look like his hair( my son started laughing when he saw it). I added a computer generated sentiment that says Don't Beg.
Well I hope you have enjoyed Simply Betty's 12 Days of Haloween. I ahven't been able to paly along in most of them due to other DT comments and school starting back up again but I have at least visited all the submisson wehave had to this challenge.

HAVE A HAPPY AND SAFE HALLOWEEN and don't eat all the kids candy up!!lol!! I know my Husband will be stealing candy from our kids as he eats more candy than they do..
Oh and remember starting Nov. 3 we will be having the new Christmas Emo's Preview with a Blog Hop on Nov. 5, you don't want to miss it as they are a must have!!

On the 4th day of Halloween

On the 4th day of Halloween my ghoul love gave to me four crazy Ravens... Incorporate Ravens and this line from Vincent in your projects: "His voice was soft and very slow As he quoted The Raven from Edgar Allen Poe: “and my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor shall be lifted? Nevermore…”

Okay pretty simple no? Now remember you do not have to use Simply Betty Stamps, but it does persuade the judges a bit when we see all the SBS beauties! Wink Wink!

I printed this Raven wallpaper of the internet and I used "Day of The Dead Timothy " from the newly release Victorian Beauties. If you haven't seen them please go and check them out. We also had a blog hop Friday to show some of the new digis. If you would like to join in on the hop scroll down to my next post.

I sprayed the printed image with pearl Glitter mist as my card is really simple.
Copics:

Simply Betty Stamps, Emo Halloweenies Blog Hop & Release

Woot woot... a Hoppin' we will go, a Hoppin' we will go... or a Haunting if you prefer!
Woot woot... a Hoppin' we will go, a Hoppin' we will go... or a Haunting if you prefer!

Today is the day for the New Emo Halloweenies BLOG HOP and release. If you came from the Simply Betty Blog your on the right track as this is your 1st stop from the BLOG.

For my creation I used all 6 new Emo Halloweenies; Lola, Miller, Christian, Rio, London and Betty . I created a decorative piece to display on my floating shelf in my the Livingroom. I added pockets to the back and made tags to add pictures of the kids in their costumes this year.

I used a thick Chipboard Accordian Album and attach some gorgeous Basic Grey "eerie" DP to the fronts of each panel. I added some chipboard letters to the top that I inked up in purple and added some glitter to them and then used some Ultra Thick Embossing Powder and heat set them twice to make the letters strong enough to withstand some wear and tear. I also added some green glitter glue to the letters for goo and some K&Company punchout eyes.

I used some more K&Company embellishments ( Candy, ghost, bats, skulls, etc..)

I used my MS drippy goo border punch on the tags and add some glitter and ultra thick embossing powder to make it shine, then add some black organdy ribbon and fibers. I also used some Basic Grey "eerie" chipboard.

I printed out 6 more images, colored them and used a square punch to punch out the upper part of their bodies. I will add some sayings and other embellishments after I add pic's of the kids in their costumes.

Here is one of the tags.

Make sure you leave comments on all the DT's blog and then on Simple Betty Stamps Blog to be in for the winning. Next I send you over to Barbs blog. This is going to be an AWESOME SPOOKY blog hop.. thanks for stopping by and the new Simple Betty Challenges DT has their first Challenge on Friday 9/17 so don't forget to stop by.

I hope you enjoy the preview days , now it's time for some hoppin' fun, prizes, and deals! Prizes:Three Lucky Winners will be receiving two FREE rubber stamps from the Emo Halloweenies; Lola and Miller, Rio and Betty, or Christian and Miller (London is not available as a rubber stamp)! All you have to do is participate in our Blog Hop Challenge... of course there are a couple of twists to it. You have one day to complete your creation! The Inlinkz is posted below and will be open until Thursday Sept. 16th at 11:59 PM! The challenge? Very simple Create your best Halloween creation! It can be a card, a treat bag, a scrapbook page, or mini album anything Halloween! Pretty simple so far? Here is the second catch, you must use a Simply Betty Stamp image that is NOT Halloween... so No Jude and his Shenanigan Crew, no Punky Teens. You can use everything else! The more non Halloween you go the more of a chance you have to win two of the six! What I mean to say is take the most uncommon image and Halloween-ize it! Imagine one of the Divas Trick-or-Treating, or one of the School Emos! What ever you go with just have fun! The three winners will be carefully selected by myself and both DT members of Simply Betty Stamps and Simply Betty Challenges! Good luck everyone!
