My Baby Girls 18 today!! Oh No!!

Hi Everyone.  Today is a SAD day for me as my oldest daughter Destiny is 18 today.  Oh My Gosh where has the time gone. Not only did she turn 18 today she also got her acceptance letter to MTS (Middle Tennessee University).  Not too much longer and she be college bound.  But I do think she will live a home the for the first year of College, at least I hope so.

I wanted.. since she is 18 today.. to make her a birthday card that reminded me of what she use to look like when she was my LITTLE girl.  Not that she's not now.. she's just not little anymore.  She all grown up now.  teas, tears and more tears.. But this picture looks jsut like she did when she was 2 and 3.  She has the curliest little blond hair and she even had that cute little round belly.

I used this oh so sweet and adorable Mo Manning digi called "Winter Fairy Talva".  She was born during 17" of snow(in Kentucky)  so she is my Winter baby and I wanted my card to showcase that.

I used some Bo Bunny Winter papers, some beautiful white trim, Big glittery foam snowflake,  Pearl stick pin, aqua Maya Road Leaf pins,Wild Orchid Crafts roses and Dollie.

I also used my sewing machine so that means I can enter this in this weeks Mo Manning Challenge.

I added glitter to her big fuzzy head/ear muffs,  her fuzzy leg warmers, snow and on her wings.  I also added glitter glue to the flowers too.

 You can see that the BIG Aqua flower use to be darker so I lighted it up with glitter glue and MS fine glitter.

Oh and the sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

Hi everyone.  First of all I would like to thank each and every one of you who stop by my blog to see my latest creations.  And most of all the ones who always leave me the sweetest comments.   This second half of this year has been tough on me and I can't ever seem to get caught up and you are the ones who suffer from it.  I wish I had more time to leave everyone comments, but know that I do love seeing your creations each and every day.

You are the ones that keep me creating. It just feels like that is the only time I have any more.. rush to create and post then my day is over.

I have so many cards that I have started and never go time to finish or mail this year.

I used a Mo Manning image called "Sticky" .. I LOVE this little sweet Elf boy.  He is sooooo cute.

This card went to my friend Fred at work.

  Fred is the one who has helped me this year with trying to eat right  to keep my stomach and digestive system healthy.  He has been a blessing to me.  I have slacked here lately and I have paid for it.  So starting in the New Year I will be back to eating healthier so I don't get sick again.

He loved this little elf when he saw me coloring it at work, so he had to go on his Christmas card.

Off to wrap presents, if I can keep the kids from killing each other.  They just fell into my Christmas tree for the 20th time or more already this year.  I think this is my Christmas tree's last year and they have damaged it badly.  Kids.. Do any of you have the same problem with your kids???
I hope I am not the only one, but then again I don't wish it on anyone.

Mo Manning cards to share

I have 2 cards to show you that I created last week. This first one was for a friend a work and the last one my sister ask me to make for her boss. Both cards I used images from Mo Manning Digital Pencil. This first one I used "Angel with Kitty". THe DP is from My Minds Eye, I used a MS border punch, Wild Orchid Craft Roses and added some adhesive pearls.

Isn't she so ADORABLE!!!

For this card I used "The Enginer" from Mo Manning. The DP is Dasiy D's. I kept this card pretty simple since it was for a man.

It needed to have alot of signing space, so the card folds twice, once inside so they have room to sign it.

Well I'm off to bed, I just wanted to try to post something today!! I tried to comment this weekend on everyone's blog, but some blogs I could leave a comment, so if you are a regular follower I didn't forget you.. I don't know if its blogger or my computer!! If I didn't make it I should stop by, by tomorrow!! Hopefully it was just blogger and not my computer!!

Fairy Baby, Mo Manning

I have to run to get in bed as I have to be at work early , but I wanted to share a card I created since I didn't post anything earlier today. You can get this little sweetie over at Mo Manning Digtial Pencil!!! Her images are beautiful and so fun to color.

I created a circle easel card for her to rest on. I didn't have a circle die or cutter the size I needed for this image so I laid a CD on top of the image and traced it and then hand cut it out. The circle card base was made with a Creative Memories Circle cutter.
