Jasmine Becket-Griffith, "Pearls Swirl Mermaid

OMGOSH!!!! My Jasmine Becket-Griffith stamps from Crafts and Me finally came in Friday. WHOO HOO!!! I have be patiently awaiting for there arrival. Don't laugh but I have been working overtime this week and I had my Mom come by my house and check my mail on Wednesday, Thursday and then on Friday she called me to say the card was in the mail to let me know they were at the post office. So you know what that mean't she went to the post office and got them for me as I get off way too late to make it to the post office in time. Isn't my Mom just the BEST Mom ever??? With these coming from the UK they do take longer to reach me here in the US but so worth the wait.
SO now onto my card. I used "Pearls Swirl Mermaid" by Jasmine Becket-Griffith at Crafts and Me. As soon as I saw that Teresa, owner of Crafts and Me UK was going to be carrying her artwork as stamps I was beyond excited!!! hee, hee. I am a big fan if her artwork and I always hoped she would turn some of her artwork into stamps so I could color and create with them.

This is the first of many more to come and I hope you love it as much as I do. I really don't think I can part with this card. I am working on more so I should have alot more to show you this week. I am also working on some Sweet Pea Cards also and trying to get caught up from not being able to create this week due to all the hours I have been working at work.

I really wish you could see this card in real life and these pictures just don't do it justice at all.

My Sweet Valentine

How is everyone tonight?? I am great!! I'm trying to type up this post while I am watching my favorite show....LOST!!! By the time I get this post done it will be over.
I was asked to make a valentine card for one of my friends daughter. She picked out this image from Ching-Chou Kuiks Fantasy Art Collection. The name of this image is 'Love Is Gone', from Sheet # 7/ Plate #29. This is also my DT card for Sweet Pea. Don't worry I will have more to show you this week. Well my friends daughter is 10 and she loves fairies and the colors pink and purple. When I created a card for someone I really want when they receive it that they know this card was made just for them in their taste. This little girl has a wonderful Mom!! A Mom who has someone make a card just for her. For anyone who has been reading my blog for a while knows that I make alot of cards and handmade gifts for my friends.
Here is a close up of Love is Gone!!! I think she turned out just beautiful!! I decided to make her into an easel card, because this little girl her name is Cheyenne. Which is also my oldest Daughter's middle name. Sorry, I'm just rambling on.

The DP I used is from a K&Company Valentine pack that I bought last year.
I dicided I would let her write her own sentiment on the inside, or she can stamp the inside herself with a couple of stamps I have that she can pick from.
I still have 2 more cards that I have to finish, so I will be back tomorrow to post those.
See Ya.
If anyone has created something with these stamps, please leave a comment and let me know so I can check out your creations!! I just love seeing what everyone has created with Ching-Chou Kuik's beautiful images. And remember if you create something go to the Sweet Pea Blog and find Jennifer's email and send her your creation. And we will post it on the blog during our Customer Submission week, which is the second week of every month. Can't wait to see everyone creations!!
