Pearls In My Hair (ADFD Challenge), Add a Feather

Hi everyone.  Today I am sharing a card I created for the New Challenge over at
This weeks Challenge is

I used on of the new images from the "Birds In My Hair"

Collection called

Isn't this image so beautiful?  I love it and I had a blast coloring her.
I used some 6x6 papers from the Basic Grey "Curio" collection. Love these papers!!
I added some Wild Orchid Crafts brown roses, the bigger green flower is from Swirlydoos.
I added some feathers to the top of the card under the flowers in brown tones.
Tim Holtz Alterations On the Edge "Iron Gate" Sizzix die, Making Memories Distressing Tool, Distress Inks.

Copics

Dress: YG93,YG95,YG97,YG99,G99 , W9 and YG11
Birds: E30,E34,E13 and E15

.
Here is a closeup of the beautiful image colored with copics.

A lot of people ask me what kind if Stamping CS I use and here is what I use to color all my stamped images with copics, this paper is not good for pencils as when coloring with pencils you need a rougher not smooth at all CS. Smooth paper won't hold the lead of the pencils and will not allow you to blend and build up colors.  For any of you who use pencils knows what I am taking abou.

HOHAWK Color Copy 98
Bright White/Blanc Brillant
Smooth
100 lb Cover 8.5 x 11 L
35.96M
270gsm
250 Sheets per pk
In Big Bold Numbers  12-220

I get mine at The Paper Mill Store in bulk of 1500 sheets for $117, but you can buy just one rim of 250 sheets for $22.97.
Here is a link to exactly what I buy

Well I am off to start dinner in the oven as it will take some time to cook and be done by the time my husband gets home from work.
I go back to work on Monday and I am ready to go back, I thought I would never say that, but I can't get nothing done her at home as I am in just a lazy mode. I thought I would get a done of cards made but not that hasn't happened all I want to do is sit and color and that's about all I have done.

Jazmine started her Meds. today.  Wish her luck that they help her to be able to learn and get caught up. I am so worried about her, but I did email her teacher and if anything goes wrong she will contact me.  So far no call jus am email to let me know she got my email to her.

I hope each of you have a wonderful weekend.

Hugs:)
Angela

What a beautiful image... so versatile and stylish; and of course you have presented it beautifully. Hope all goes well with Jazmine (for your ease of mind as much as for her!- you are clearly such a caring Mum and I can feel how your heart aches for her) Enjoy your return to work on Monday... it's sort of comforting to get back to our routines after times of high stress, even if it does cut into craft time ;-) Donna ☺
