Jules from Saturated Canary

Hi everyone, I hope you are having a great weekend.  Mine has been pretty busy.  It seems like everyday here lately has been busy.  I created this card over a week ago and I am just now getting time to take a pic and write up a post to share it with you. I used this oh so adorable image by Krista Smith from Saturated Canary called  Jules, A Ragamuffin Gymnast/Ballerina. Isn't she so adorable??!!

If you follow Krista's personal blog you know she is coming out with some new images this week and I can't wait.  I get so excited every time I hear or see she is releasing new images and of course I have to have ALL  of them. Not only do I love coloring them so does my youngest daughter Jazmine.  She loves to color Krista's images and loves to create with mommy.

I used some AUTHENTIQUE  papers called Uncommon.  I love all the AUTHENTIQUE paper collections.
I used alot of layers and distressed them with a distressing tool and distressing inks. I wanted to adhere the papers a little off and not straight, just to add more visually. I added some gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts Roses, the big grey flower is from Michael's, some grey tulle,  and the live your dreams saying is from Webster's Pages.

I colored her with copics.

Well  I am off as I am trying to set up my new Printer, copier, scanner/fax machine.  I am still going to keep my other one hooked up as it is pretty simple and I can just slide in my camera memory card to download my pics, to where i can't with the new one, wish I would had noticed that before I bought it and opened up everything.  So I will be using my old one the most.  Oh and I am trying to cook dinner, wash clothes and keep the kids from killing each other.... They are always fighting and screaming.  My house is never quiet.. unless they are asleep.
