Crafts and Me Challenge #42

Today is Challenge #42 over at Crafts and Me Challenges.  And this week is Vicky's turn to host our challenge and her challenge is to use your "Favorite Stamp".
I wanted to use "Pearl Swirl Mermaid" by Jasmine Becket-Griffith.  This is one of my favorite stamps over at Crafts and Me.  I love Jasmine's artwork!!

I used some Sandylion DP, Sizzix flourish die, Jeweled bling by Recollections at Michael's Craft Store, Martha Stewart Fine Glitter and Liquid Accents to make her top, tail and fins shiny and a clear star gel pen.

Here is a close up to show the liquid accents.

Here are the copic colors I used.
Skin: E11,E00,E000,E0000 and YR000
Hair: E50.E51,E53,E55,E23 and E57
Top and Tail: BG07,BG13,BG11
Background colored with  diagonal brush strokes, starting close to the image and outward in a diagonal motion using: BG000,BG11,BG13 and YG01
I also inked up the edges with some green and aqua ink.
Chalk on her cheeks

Well I hope you get a chance to play along with us, we can't wait to see your favorite stamp and what you create with it.
Go HERE to see what the DT's favorite stamps are.

Sorry for being so quiet, but with the 4th of July weekend being so busy and then to return to work yesterday and working overtime all week... I am behind and have little to no extra time. So sorry!! I hope to get back on track by this weekend.

Oh Angela, I love this one as much as the first version! Thanks for the nice comments about my case. I have also colored her up in pink and will hopefully have it up soon. The background was pretty easy but you are right it does use up a lot of ink.
Thanks again for all your inspiration, you always have such stunning artwork. :)
