Have Faith, I'm holding you hands

Tonight I have a card to share with you that one of my good friends asked to create for a childhood friend. Her friends Son was in a BAD car wreck a week or so ago and they are not sure he will make it or if he does he may live the rest of his life as a vegetable. He is only 18 yrs old and the family is really having a hard time just trying to stay strong and live minute by minute. His father and stepmother are flying back and forth every weekend from Florida to Kentucky as he just started a new job there.
My friend wanted to send her a card to let her know how much she means to her and how much she is thinking and praying for her Son, the Dad, her Husband and herself. Just to let them know they are in her thoughts and prayers.

This is a HUGE card 7x7, as the image was so big it need to be on a HUGE card. The image is called Ashlyn's Faith and it is a wooden stamp by Stampabilities. I got this stamp a couple of years ago on clearance at Hobby Lobby for only $3.40. I fell in love with this image as soon as I saw her and couldn't believe how cheap it was. This image can be used for so many cards.
As I was looking through my stamps to make a card for my friend I remembered this stamp and knew this was the one I had to use. To me its Jesus holding the hands for a little girl as she prays to God. And to me it just represents that God always has our hands and is here for us when we need/ or call out to him.
I wanted the card I made for her to show that Jesus is there to hold her hands and to guide and help her get through this horrific time in her life and to know she has someone to turn to and leamn on for strength.

I added alot of layers to this card and used a lot of Foam tape to add dimension.

The sentiment is from a Sweet Pea Stamp set.
