It's My Birthday

I hope everyone had a great Wednesday. I am so tired but I still have so much to do that has to get done by tonight. I am making a pot of coffee, which is a must every afternoon for me. If it wasn't for coffee you might as well forget it as I would be in bed before 7 every night. I can't seem to do anything without it. And on top of that if I don't drink it I get the worst headaches. Then I'm no good for anybody or anything.
Here is a card I created with It's My Birthday from ching chou kuiks fantasy art collection sheet #1/ plate#20. These are not colors I create with often but I wanted to try something alittle different. So I went for more of a summer look. With all the cold weather and snow we have all had this year, I wanted something to remind me that warmer weather is right around the corner.

I hope she warms you up as much as she has me when I was coloring and creating this card. The card base itself is 5.5 x 5.5. So you can see that the orange scalloped circle(Memory Boutique) is alittle bigger than a 6x6 card. But I just loved the orange color of this and was going to try to make it work. I am pretty happy with the way it turned out. The image was Stamped on Georgia Pacific CS(I already had this image stamped before I started using PTI White CS "Paper Trey Ink" which I prefer to use now) colored with copics and then I added some glitter glue to the stars and her tail. I also added more shimmer with come spica pens and sakura pens. The chipboard swirls are by Colorbok, that I cover in white pigment CTMH ink and then covered them in some Martha Stewart fine white glitter. I also colored the little prima flowers with my copics to match the colors in the image. I added some yellow bling to the centers of the flowers and a circle bling by Me and My Big ideas around the big yellow flower. I hope I this inspired you to try something different. Thanks for stopping by!! I have got to get my rear in gear and finish some projects!!

Copics Used:
Skin: E000,E00,E11,R20,RV02
Hair: E47,E50,E51,E53,E55
Oranges: YR09,YR07,YR04
Yellows: Y17, Y08,Y06,Y11,Y0000
Blue Greens: BG13,BG11,BG10,BG000,BG000
