Recipe Books and Cards

How is everyone doing? I have been busy these last 4 days. This is the first time I have even been on my blog since Friday morning. Friday night was craft night, Saturday morning we had our Angel breakfast at church for the kids and today was church and our Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner. Then after eating a big lunch I had to drive to meet my oldest Daughter's Dad to pick her up. So that was over 2 hrs on the road. We got home after 5:00 this afternoon. This has been a crazy busy weekend. Well these are some of the Christmas gifts that I was asked to make for a good friend I work with. She wanted these to give to some of her family. I made these recipe books and make a card to go with them. I made so may of these last year for Christmas. I made recipe books, prayer journals, and notebooks for all the kids in my family. I think I ended up making 9 or 10 just for the kids. I also made them clipboards and book marks to go with each one. Last year I was way ahead of the game, but not this year. My friends and family will be lucky to just get a handmade card. With all my hours at work and spending hours a night helping my son with his homework and classwork, I just haven't had the time. I made a total of 3 of these. I used some K&Compay paper on this one and the stamp set is Kiss the Cook from Hanna Stamps. I used a SU tab punch, Nesties, Cuttlebug emb. folders, ribbon, chipboard letters(K&Company), a recipe stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps(that my friend Gina let me borrow), Prima flowers, Twine, eyelets, Tim Holts Distress Ink in Vintage Photo, Copic Markers and Composition notebooks.
Here is the 2nd one.
Here is the 3rd one. This was the best picture I could get of this one. I also used some Daisy D's paper on this one.

Here is a close up of the 2nd one to show alittle more detail.

And a close up of the side to show the tabs.

Well is it for tonight, hopefully I 'll get to post a card tomorrow and vist everyone's blog. I have about 4 cards done, and already waiting on my computer to be posted to my blog. It's just finding time to do it. Thanks for coming by and looking.

they look great here, but they are even better in person. I can't pick a favorite, although I love the flowers on the first one!
