I purchased this wooden hinged box at JoAnn and painted it in a dark creamy color. Then I added some DP around it that I inked up the edges with some Tim Holts Ranger distressing ink in walnut. I took off all the hardware before painting it.
This cute little girl is Lottie from the Twinkle Tots collection at The Greeting Farm. I colored her with copics and layered her twice and then went back with a third layer only on some of the image. The top of the box is recessed about 1/2" or so. I added some glitter glue around the inside of the top and on the top edges of the box. I used a spellbinders pendant die and layered it on top then added my layered little Lottie image and added some Prima flowers to the top and front of the box. I also added some glitter glue to the flowers and the Chipboard! The Friend chipboard is from FancyPants and is coverd in ink then covered in and aqua glitter glue.
I can't remember the maker of the DP at the moment, but it is some that I purchased at my LSS!
And here is the inside that I covered in the same paper( double sided DP). I added another Lottie colored image that I cut out and glued to the bottom inside of the box. I used a lot of pop dots on the top to give a lot of the wow factor!!
I am trying to get my 12 days of sketches cards done with TGF!! Hopefully I will get them done, I am only on day 3!! Wish me luck because I will need it to finish in time!!
