Instyle Stamps Blog Challenge

Tonight I made this card for Instyle Stamps Blog Challenge. They now have a new blog and this is their first blog Challenge. The Challenge was to make a snow themed card or project using an ISS image. Here is my take on the challenge. I used a new digi and her name is Sandy. I won this image for free by being one of the first 150 followers of their new Blog. Isn't she just too cute? I had a hard time picking out which image I wanted so my 15 year old Daughter picked this one out for me. I'm glad she did because I just love her and I would probably still be trying to decide.
I printed her out on Georgia Pacific CS on my HP photo printer and colored her with Copic marker. I then cut her out. I added some white Fun Flock to the bottom of her dress, the cuffs and her hat. I also used some Glossy accents on her eyes. The trees are a stamp from the Winter C.C. Designs set, that I pre-ordered. This is a pretty big set, well worth the money. It will not go back on sale until December and you will only be able to buy them individually. She will not offer them as a set again. I stamped 4 of them with Memento black ink and colored all 4 in different colors then cut them out. I added some Liquid Applique to the trees and Fun Flock then used my heat gun to puff it up. I mounted my images on a nesties Label die that I ran through my dotted cuttlebug folder. Then I cut another one out and ripped into 3 pieces to make my snow and added some light gray and blue chalk to make it stand out just a little from the dotted background. I also used the Classic Frames spellibinder die and when it was still in the die I ran some green CTMH ink over the embossed areas and them added some green glitter glue. I cut it in half and added it to the sides of my Label die, for just a little bit more punch. I used the Martha Stewart drippy goo punch and punched it out from a piece of Basic Grey paper. The stripped paper is also Basic Grey from the Blitzen Collection. I cut out an petite oval for my sentiment and added some green glitter glue around the edges and used pop dots behind it. The two trees on the outside have been pop dotted along with little Miss Sandy. I used some red ribbon and added a ghost snow flake and a white snowflake brad to the center. The sentiment is from a CTMH stamp set called Let It Snow. Also the whole label die image was pop dotted. This looks even better in person..
Here is a side view

And a view laying down to see the dimension.

Hope you like her! Thanks for stopping by to see me.
