Hi everyone.  Today I have a card to share with you using one of Karen Middleton's images.

I had planned on having a ton of cards made this weekend but as we all know too well life just gets in the way and your get pulled into another direction.  But I did get to create this one.  My only one so far.  I do have a ton of images colored .. now just to find more time to create.

Red, White and Blue with Saturated Canary Challenges

Hi everyone.  I am still trying to get back into the swing of things and get back to normal posting and commenting. But as you can see I still haven't gotten there yet. Thanks to all of you for hanging in there with me.

Well today I do have a card to share with you.  Today we have a new challenge over at

Saturated Canary Challenge Blog.

This weeks challenge is

"Red, White and Blue"

I used this sweet summer beach image called 

"Cali Girl"

I used some Independence Day papers from Bo Bunny, Spellbinders Die, paper flowers, silk flowers and the Roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I added a bow in red and blue ribbon and that cute little clothes pin and blue buttons.

Just a quick post from me to share with you my newest creation for

  Sweet Pea Stamps.

I used this gorgeous but a little dark image by our artist Rebecca Sinz at Sweet Pea Stamps.

You can find her here as a single or on sheet "7, Plate #205 with 3 other gorgeous image for a total of 4 unmounted  stamps.

This name of this image is "HOPE".

I used quite a few papers from different company's on this one.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leafs are a die by Memory Box that I added some homemade glimmer mist to.

Here is my new room addition

We finally finished the New addition this past Saturday.  I am so glad to have it done.  Here are some pics of the new room before we started moving Destiny's stuff in there.

We did all the inside work ourselves.  We had the framing, and Vinyl on the outside done by someone else.  We put in all the insulation , the drywall, finished all the drywall, installed the Laminate wood flooring, painted and added all the molding.

I did all the drywall mud and sanding, added the bead board paneling and all the trim.  My husband helped with the baseboard molding but the rest I did myself. he did have to help me hold up the crown molding while I nailed it in place as they were 10 ft long and I couldn't hold it up and nail at the same time.
My husband put in the ceiling fan, which I love.  He also went up into the attic and added all the insulation.
I put 2 coats of High Gloss Ultra white paint to all the molding, Bead Board, closet doors and the French doors,

We only added a small hanging bar  and the rest are shelves.

Here is the piece of carpet that I bought to make a huge rug out of( it's 12x8 ft).

We also added drywall mud to the ceiling to added decoration and try to hide the Plywood ceiling so we wouldn't have to add drywall and fight to get it mudded and sanded.

Well now you can see why I have been so MIA here over the past 2 months.

One day this will be my craftroom, but until then it is Destiny's new bedroom. I painted my son Bailey's new room( his sister's old room) Sunday and he moved his stuff in on Monday night.  All I have left to do is paint Jazmine's room and the hallway, then I need to clean my carpets with all the traffic in and out over the past 2 months the kids have made the carpets so dirty.

Well I hope you like the new room.  I love it and I think I love it more because we did all the work ourselves.

Wild Royalty

Today I have a card to share with you using one of ching chou kuiks fantasy images called

" Wild Royalty".

You can purchase her as a single or on sheet #42, Plate #203 with 3 other gorgeous images.

I colored the image with copics and used some beautiful Authentique papers in blue from the Journey collection.  I used a Memory Box die, dollie,  and someWild Orchid Crafts Roses.

Play me some music with Saturated Canary

I know I have been MIA for what feels like forever now.  My new room is almost finished.  I will show you pics when I it is done.  In the process of doing the new room I have messed up my right hand to the point where I couldn't even hold a pencil much less my copics to color.  It is still sore but I finally have use of it.

I hope to get back to my normal creating self by the next few weeks.  Tonight I added some crown molding to the room and we still like adding the selves in the closest and the closet doors.  Then I can add another coat of paint to all my baseboards and moldings then it will be time for Destiny to move her stuff in it and then I can start painting the other 2 bedrooms for the kids.

I decided to pull out my kraft paper and Prismacoloring pencils for this one.

I used some Bo Bunny paper, flourish dies, felt flowers, brads and some ribbon.

Hopefully you will get a chance to play along with us this week.

I hope that I will soon be able to start getting on the computer again and have some relaxing time as I haven't had any in the past 2 months and I so need it and for my house to get back to normal.
I miss all of you and hope to visit as soon as I can.
